Eid-venturous Styles: Men’s Fashion Tips for 2025 to rock the festival in style

As the crescent moon signals the arrival of Eid, the air is filled with the sweet scent of tradition and the vibrant pulse of modernity. This Eid, men’s fashion takes center stage, blending timeless elegance with contemporary flair. We spoke with top designers and fashion experts to bring you the ultimate guide to Eid dressing in 2025.
The Revival of the Bandhgala
“This Eid, the bandhgala takes on a new form—sharp, structured, and effortlessly powerful,” says designer Saggar Mehra. Think deep, moody hues, sculpted tailoring, and intricate yet understated embroidery. Paired with tapered trousers or relaxed pleated pants, the bandhgala is a statement in restraint, where craftsmanship speaks louder than embellishment.
Back to Basics with a Twist
For a more laid-back approach, designer Karrtik Dhingra suggests going back to basics with a quintessential festive twist. “Ditch those heavy embroidered kurtas and opt for fun short kurtas with drape details,” he advises. Asymmetrical cuts and relaxed silhouettes are perfect for warm, comfortable family gatherings.
Tone-on-Tone Embroidery and Modern Cuts
Masumi Mewawalla emphasizes the importance of tone-on-tone embroidered kurtas with structured bundis or asymmetric angrakha-style kurtas paired with tapered pants. “We’ve played with muted ivory-on-ivory threadwork, embellished collars, and modern cuts that respect tradition but break away from cliché,” she adds.
Timeless Elegance with a Modern Edge
Nitika Gujral celebrates timeless style, where tradition finds its rhythm in modern refinement. “Nothing captures this essence better than a classic black ensemble—powerful, poised, and eternally elegant,” she says. The Black Kurta and Bundi Set by Histori by Amit Gujral is a masterclass in understated luxury and effortless charm.
Modern Takes on Classic Eid Attire
Rizwan Shaikh, Nafs, notes that as we approach Eid 2025, it’s vital to blend tradition with modern flair. “Embrace the classic charm of kurtas, but consider styles with contemporary cuts or asymmetric hems,” he advises. Fabrics like linen and light cotton will keep you comfortable while ensuring a sharp look. Don’t shy away from layering, as a well-tailored jacket over a kurta can add a stylish touch.
Dhruv Sehgal, Men’s Fashion Designer, echoes this sentiment, saying that Eid 2025 will see a clear shift towards modern takes on classic Eid attire. “Luxurious yet breathable fabrics such as lightweight silk, brocade, and soft cottons will be favored, offering both elegance and comfort for the warmer months,” he explains. Expect bold, rich colors like emerald green, royal blue, and deep red to dominate, but pastels and soft neutrals will also make a statement, introducing a more serene and fresh vibe.
