It’s no secret that Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser always shows up to her royal engagements draped in the most fashionable ensembles.

While the Qatari royal is celebrated for her modest sartorial choices, she’s also mastered the art of layering—proving that a sporty touch can be just as chic when styled right.

For Qatar’s annual National Sports Day, Sheikha Moza opted for a striking royal blue makeshift jumpsuit and abaya from Qatari fashion brand Vibe By Muneera. The abaya’s shimmering details, paired with blue and gold accents, created an elegant contrast, further elevated by a playful patchwork quilted wool jacket from Marfa Stance.

Adding a streetwear element to her modest ensemble, she accessorised with a pair of Pierre Hardy Trek Comet Sneakers, seamlessly blending a cool energy with her signature modest style.

Her enthusiasm for the event was evident as she was spotted alongside her daughter, Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, and other dignitaries at the gathering.

She even took part in the activities, which she later shared on Instagram. “I was delighted today to be among the participants of Qatar National Sports Day,” she said. Adding to the importance of the event, she mentioned, “Qatar Foundation has always encouraged the community to adopt an active lifestyle and make sports an integral part of its culture.”

The Qatari has had a busy start to 2025 with back-to-back events and appearances.

Just before her sporty appearance at the National Sports Day, she attended the Doha Jewellery & Watch Exhibition with  Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad Al Thani, wife of the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The royals were seen sporting modest abayas in the season’s colours paired with diamond-studded accessories. As always, elegance is an understatement for the royal in-laws.

Sheikha Moza, who was one of the event’s main collaborators, came with the youngest princes and princesses of the Saudi royal family, Prince Mohammed Al Saud and Princess Aljowhara Al Saud, who took pictures in front of the Bvlgari showcase.

The Qatari royal, known for her penchant for the exquisite, whether it be fashion or high jewellery, opted for a ginger-coloured kaftan with black and gold embroideries. She rounded off her modest attire with minimal silver earrings.
